RCCL is a Radiation Portal Monitor specifically developed for the detection of potential radioactive sources or contaminated residuals in hospital and health care activity waste.

RCCL operates automatically in both static and/or dynamic mode, so the operator does not have to stop in front of the detector. The extreme simplicity of use eliminates the need for external intervention or trained staff.

RCCL is an easy-to-use portal monitor with high reliability:

It allows for accurate detection of all low level radioactive contamination and medical sources in hospital waste. The modular design extends its application to several specific customized solutions.

It can also be used for monitoring Gamma radiation in other waste or recycling material and for special applications such as conveyor belts.

Using large volume PVT plastic scintillator and high diameter PMT with low electronic noise, RCP ensures optimal detection sensitivity for Gamma rays with a fast response time. The counting rate is sampled each 100ms.
